The authors purpose of this review is to persuade the reader to not but the iPad 2 by saying things like it was "defect". I believe that it is not reliable because there are some typos in the review such as " benifit" and "defect" instead of defective in which it  would Amazom.com fit better. Most of the review was bias that Amazon.com in not good and along whith that there was some biast against the iPad 2. The viewpoint is that the iPad 2 is not a device worth the money and should not necessarily be bought from Amazon because it is "defected".

The purpose of the 5 star review is both to persuade and to inform. The author is trying to get the reader[s] to but an iPad 2, there is no conflicting evidence in this review but there is pros and cons so it is to inform. This review was from Amazon.com and is not very reliable, but a review like this is not reliable unless it is from Apple.com. If it is from Apple.com it is true because apple is the maker of the iPad 2. This specific review shows a lot of bias and slant and some statistics and the info makes sense. Some examples of the bias and slant are when the author was listing the pros and cons. The viewpoint is that the iPad 2 is an amazing electronic device and should be bought. The bias and slant can make the article not reliable because the info is slanted to 1 belief.
